Our product and technology is what sets us apart.
And what enables you to virtually fit a foot and a shoe
The process is layered. Each layer is responsible for a different task.
And it's patent pending.
In order for us to be able to capture your foot, regardless of the device you are using – we use something called Camera Calibration.
As you can see, we map the physical location of the camera in 3D space.
COMPUTER VISION ALGORITHMS.
This layer is where we begin to reconstruct the 3D model of your foot.
The process goes through several additional layers of cleaning, fine-tuning and adjustment of the user’s data.
We fix blur, distortion, noise, lighting and more.
We also clearly analyze where exactly is the foot in 3D space.
THE FOOT. YOUR FOOT.
Next, we move on to separate the foot from any other data the scan process has collected.
We must use just the foot before we fit it with a specific shoe.
THE SHOE SCANNER.
The other side of the fit equation is the inner volume of a shoe represented as a 3D object.
We are collaborating with top footwear brands to truly understand the worlds of footwear design, manufacturing, operations and retail.
THE FIT ENGINE.
Fitting. It's the process we do physically at any shoe store. We aim to mimic the in-store experience, and this what Virtual-Fit means.
The Fit engine virtually places your foot inside the shoe you are looking at online.
Once we have the foot inside the shoe we measure the differences by working according to industry fitting standards. The consumer enjoys a clear visual representation of the virtual-fitting experience, and of course the best fit size to buy.
